Staying in bed with your roommate till 3 pm, eating chocolate
or ice cream or mums buns, watch TV, generally do nothing,
just so you can enjoy that one day a week you have time off
from work. My day off is Monday's. Even though I'd like to
have a Saturday or even friday off, Monday's are good as well,
espesically when your roommate has a day off too, and you can
just do nothing, together.

Be able to say Hakuna Matata, and actually believe in it.

Living in London is great. I have a job, a place to stay,

fantastic people around me. I couldn't really ask for anything

else. I am happy right where I am now. I don't have to worry

about everything anymore. I feel good about doing this whole

thing. Be on my own, figure out everything by myself.

It really feels good.

Have a marshmallow war.
The party was dying out. It was already five o'clock in the morning. The four of us were still drunk, lying on the trampoline. We were going to sleep in the library. We took down the sheets someone had been drying outside in the sun the day before and forgotten and ran around the house before we went to bed.
Then the marshmallow wars started.
And it lasted for ever.

Get the chance to go home early from work.

I walked home from work 1,5 hours before

I was supposed to yesterday, simply because

it was friday. No other reason. No other reason

needed really. I was happy. I could just relax

and enjoy the fact that it was weekend.

Enjoy the fact the I had time off and could just

do nothing or everything. It didn't matter,

because I didn't have to think about, worry

about, getting up early the next day.

I have a really good feeling about it all. I believe

Seeing all your old friends again.
The people you loved who disappeared. Some to go to school, some to live with their partners, some to work and the ones who stayed behind. Discovering that nothing really changed. That we are the same people we always were. That we still love each other. That we've missed each other even if it was on a subconscious level.

Drinking wine on a lazy Sunday afternoon with a good friend.

Watching horse raceing 12 floors below us.
Forgetting that we have to leave soon.
That the real world waits.
That we have jobs, families, responsibilities.

Strech out in the afternoon sun that barely reaches through the clouds. Knowing that we are so comfortable. Blowing smoke in each others eyes. The most comfortable people in the world.

Knowing someone answeared your prayers.
A few weeks back two guys came over to me and a friend of mine sitting outside in the sun at the university campus. They were our age and told us they were doing a campaign. A Christian campaign. It comes quite natural to me to turn down these kind of things, but it made me think. They gave us a piece of paper and told us to write down our prayers. They would keep one half and pray for us in church, we kept the rest. My grandparents were going through a tough period at the time, involving cancer. I prayed for them to get a nice last period together.
I think I was heard.
I know I was heard.

I know this is a way more personal post than the usual TTA-posts, but I know you'll understand.

A very good friend and I got home

from a party last night. Still being drunk,

we decided to take a shower.

It was amazing getting all that beer and

other types of alcohol out of the hair, be

nice and warm instead of freezing.

Go outside to enjoy the sun after taking a 5 hours long final.

A good friend and I did that yesterday. We had just finished

our maths final, and we were walking outside, enjoying the

sun and the freedom, just talking about everything and

nothing, laughing. Just having a great time.

Going "home" for the holidays.
Being able to relax for the first time this year. Meeting old friends who aren't necessarily your friends anymore, but still people you love and share memories with. Gathering up all your friends for a late birthday party. Seeing your family several days in a row. Singing songs, go for walks in the rain, think a lot about the past. Think a lot about the present. Think even more about the future. Make plans (God I love plans), dance, kiss, drive around for hours in an old car a friend bought three years ago for next to nothing. Remember how things used to be, how you used to be. How you have changed, and how you've changed the world.

Look through old memories in the middle of the night.

My sister is currently lying in my bed with serious pains.

I'm not saying that that is awesome in any way, far from,

but: What would be more right to do after calling the

doctor to make sure I shouldn't take her to the ER then

look through old pictures, old stories and yesterdays news

while staying up watching over her? Every now and then

ask "Are you feeling any better or worse?" and then go

back in time a little to see all the good things, remember

the fantastic times, be really glad someone saved those

happy moments we shared and spent together.

Thank you for making my night a little bit better.

He will sit there with you till they tell you that you have to go, 'cause they are closing.

He will spend hours with you trying on different clothes.

He will tell you what looks good and not.

He will tell you that it's your watch that's the problem, and that you're not late for the bus home.

After a drunken night in the city.
When all you can say is e.e.e.e.e.e.e.e.e.e.e.
When you feel so embarrassed you could die.

That you didn't get that glass you so desperately wanted.
That you did hit on that guy.

Playing outside in the snow even though you're 'too old'.

The other day a very good friend and I were walking out daily

walk and we started to play in the snow. It felt so great. I haven't

done that in years. And I will start to do that more often. I hope

I'm never going to be too old to play in the snow, get covered in

snow, just lie down in the snow looking up at the stars.

Being surprised in a good way.

The look on their face or the look on your
face when you get surprised in a good way.
You don't know what to do, what to say or
where to look. Every thought possible are
going through your head without you being
able to catch any of them. You can't stop
smiling. It's one of the best moments you
can have, you will remember them or it for
as long as you live. Every time you think
about it you can't stop smiling or even laugh.

I've had one of these. It had been planned
for months and months and I was just so
shocked. It made me speechless. It's one of
the moments I will remember for the rest
of my life. It's one of those momenets I can
think about and feel better right away, smile
and think about how lucky I was getting to
experience something like that. I just can't
stop smiling.

simply what you want or wish.

Meeting a future great friend for the first time.

The feeling you just get when you meet someone
you know will be special to you. When the sun
shimmers, your friends insists you'll be great
together or you're way too drunk to understand
anything else than just the fact that this is a
special person. It's an awesome thing really,
and it's probably an awesome person and a
friendship you shold take care of.

I've had many of these, even though some have
worked out better than others. One is with my
co-writer, another might just be with you.
